I was feeling ambitious so I decided to do a big fat post on one of my favorite and most widespread trends: graphic and otherwise bold prints. One of the things I love about this trend is an absence of the typical print pattern. What we're often seeing is a total lack of pattern. Instead we see might just be a photograph printed on fabric or an abstract design. And where there is pattern it's very unconventional, with a large print and striking shapes. Plus, no garment is safe. Printed pants, skirts, tops, dresses, even shoes are all fair game. It's a pretty daring trend, so I wanted to show it from the runway to the real world. These prints really are pretty fantastic.

ReplyDeleteI do really like all of these, particularly numbers 1, 6 & 8. I don't think I could carry them off though. If I had more confidence, maybe, but I just don't think I have the personality to pull it off, sadly!
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm not even sure what I could pull off. I think I could do a patterned trouser with a solid top. They're so fun to look at though and I give a lot of credit those ladies daring enough to go for it.
DeleteDefinitely need some prints in my life!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit on the shy side when it comes to prints so I really admire people who can pull those prints off so confidently and effortlessly!
ReplyDeletevery pretty collection of styles and looks. : )
