Weekly Interiors - Credenzas

While spending some QT with Troy last weekend, he asked me what piece of furniture I'd like to buy next.  That's what design nerds in love talk about - furniture.  My answer was hands down, an awesome, mid-century modern Danish (or Danish inspired) credenza.  First I love the practicality of a credenza.  You can store many of the the more unsightly objects inside (i.e. DVDs, extension cords, what have you).  And you can use it as a showcase for your loveliest items (i.e. Noguchi Akari lamp, succulent plants, handmade ceramic pieces).  Here are a few credenzas that are along the lines of what I'm looking for, though I think I like the first one best.  Thoughts?

  1. Absolutely adore them and nearly nearly bought one when we moved into our new place at Christmas, but alas, we didn't have the room for one with everything else we had. In the end we settled for some mid century drawers which now house all the ugly stuff like dvds and cables! If you have the space, I say go for it, they are classic well built pieces of furniture and you won't regret it!
